ENGINEER IN MOLECULAR BIOLOGY (W/M)

Job description

Under the responsibility of the Manager of Internal and Collaborative R&D Projects, your main missions
are to:

• Perform qPCR, microfluidic PCR, RNA/DNA extractions according to established protocols
• Prepare libraries and next generation sequencing (NS2000, NS500)
• Perform experiments on semi-automated platforms (Dragonfly, epMotion, KingFisher, etc.)
• Develop and validate molecular biology assays
• Write reports (experimental procedures, quality control, etc.)
• Analyze, understand and explain results
• Assist in solving experimental and technical problems
• Participate in the general life of the laboratory:
  • Involvement in consumables and reagents stock management
  • Involvement in samples management
  • Maintenance of the laboratory, cleaning of equipment
  • Respect and enforce safety and quality rules

Your profile

You have a BAC+5 degree (Master’s degree, engineering school) in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology or any other related field. You are familiar with molecular biology techniques (RNA/DNA extraction, library preparation, sequencing, qPCR, NGS, HTG, etc.). You are rigorous and know how to work autonomously and in a team. You are fluent in French and English, have a good knowledge of Pack Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and are comfortable with informatic tools. Any knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), GCLP and GPL will be considered an asset.
